Marc Sadler

Marc Sadler, born in Austria, is a French citizen and presently lives in Milan. He graduated from E.N.S.A.D. - Paris in 1968 and in the same year won the Design Brook Stevens Award.

 

Since the early Seventies, thanks to his project for a ski boot in thermo-plastic material, he began to work in Italy with Caber. Then he specialised as sport designer, which allowed him to gain an excellent knowledge of materials and production technology.

 

Nowadays he is an appreciated designer for important companies in the field of furniture, electrical appliances, lighting, high technical products and he is still working in the sports field with long term collaborations.

In 1998 M.O.M.A. of New York included his Motorcyclist’s Back Protector (designed for Dainese) in its permanent exhibition.

 

He is also teaching at various design schools and universities in Italy and abroad.

·         Design Plus in Francoforte 2001 for the kitchen scale Grammy desgned for F.lli Guzzini
